pet people magazine issue 01

petpeople02 petpeople08 petpeople09 petpeople07 petpeople01 petpeople06 petpeople10 petpeople03 petpeople15 petpeople14 petpeople04 Me and my graphic designer friend Linnea Paulsson started a magazine, celebrating the love stories of pets and their people in one city at a time. Naturally it's called Pet People Magazine and it's 60 pages with photography by me and interviews and design by Linnea. After a lot of hard work and a long process Issue 01 is now finally launched! In the first issue we meet eight pets and their people in the city of Malmö. We had a pre-release launch event and photo exhibition in Malmö in March, which was a lot of fun. We finally launched Issue 01 in May and we are excited to see where this will take us.

How to decorate with plants, vol I. Taipei

Here's one of the projects I worked on last fall. During my four day trip to Taiwan, I became obsessed with how unabashedly the people of Taipei decorated their stoops, backstreets, facades and gardens with plants. I made this 28-page newsprint zine which you can now buy on my website!

taiwan snapshots

.4495 .4497 .4561 .4398 .4634 .4728 .4827 These past few months have been the busiest, most stressful and most productive of my life. I can't wait to share what I've been working on (some of it soon, some next year). This, me posting here, is really just a way of procrastinating all that I have to do. But I felt an urge to share some quick snapshots. Back in September I traveled to Taiwan to shoot a wedding (!) and had a few extra days to explore. I wish I could have stayed longer! I didn't have any expectations or plans, and I ended up having a great time, mostly walking around taking photos with the Fuji x100s I got this summer.

new work for studio esinam

New work for Gotheburg based design duo Studio Esinam. I styled and photographed their new "Berlin" print, right here in Studio Mjölkbutiken. I wanted to recreate the atmosphere of old Berlin offices with almost-dried-out cacti you can only barely see through the drawn blinds in their windows that I've seen so many of when walking the streets of Berlin. I had to run around all over town to find the perfect cacti and vintage office supplies, but who am I kidding, I loved having an excuse for doing that!

studio mjölkbutiken is open!

I now have a studio space! So exciting. It's an old milk store (mjölkbutiken = the milk store) with original 1926 interior two blocks from my apartment. I have walked past it many times and wished to someday get to be in it somehow. Now I'm sharing it with six other creatives and so far it's been great. I'm looking forward to spending many hours here working, drinking coffee, sharing ideas and experiences and developing my business.

elisabeth dunker + kauniste = true

.2838 .2916 .2797 .2924 Long time no see! I just wanted to pop in and share some photos I shot of Elisabeth Dunker of Fine Little Day and the new blanket she designed for Kauniste (in store this autumn). Isn't it gorgeous? We had a lot of fun playing in the forest a few weeks ago, mainly shooting photos for her new book. So happy to be a part of it!

fleeting moments

.0768 .1036 .0771 .2326 .2424 .0742 .2559 .0740 .2455 Most of these photos were taken months ago, and then forgotten. Short moments of everyday life. Lunches, walks, rare creative results. And sweet baby cuddles - I'm now an aunt to the most wonderful little girl! I often think about this space and how I would like change it to make me inspired to post regularly again. Haven't figured out how yet. I'm still posting daily snaps on Instagram, though!
